everyone after the big fish

February 17th, 2009

It seemsĀ  most potential entrepreneurs /investor / business people are after “the big fish”. (of course big fishes are harder to catch, harder to find, and harder to track ).

Why not go after a few small fishes that “has a chance to grow into a big fish”. Easier to manage, maybe even less risk ?

And when the pond gets drained away, its the small fish which usually escape, not the big ones.

Where are you adding to your blog from? I understand that the electricty is in such short demand there. Thank you. I have worked with an IT person from Kathmandu for almost 2 years, he is having such a horrid time doing any work this and last month. I don' t know how long I can wait for him to get some electricty.
  • Hi Kookes,

Well we have invested a lot in electricity backups and "their" backups and "their" backups. hard to believe but yes, we have had to do it since i head an web applications outsourcing company and can't have client projects on hold while we wait for electricity.

regular electricity line >>> back up electricity lines >>> Uninterrupted Power supply with car batteries >>> Diesel generators

Best of luck with you and your IT person. These crisis in electricity is here to stay sadly. Looks like you are getting affected a lot. My sympathies to you and your clients.
