Why “not” Nepal?

About Ujwal Thapa

I made this blog to share my experiences about doing business in Nepal, ghetto entrepreneurship, startups in Kathmandu, wrenching successes, happy failures, and a long windy, curvy trip towards trying to create a presence here, in Nepal.

Besides a blogger, I am also founder of www.exoticbuddha.com, a innovative travel information portal on traveling in Nepal.. Check it out ! if you want to travel to Nepal.

I am also the founder and director of Digital Max solutions, a south Asian offshore website developer team and an online solutions provider based in Nepal (north of India) for 6 years now. Our clients range from multi-nationals from Australia to Internet companies in USA.

In the last year, i have been busy in numerous new startups and experimental ventures.
dmslist.com, a job listing portal for Nepal and North India.
newsfeed.com.np, a comprehensive up to date news site about Nepal (which gathers news from BBC, and other news outlet and presents them in a single page of links.
Shangrilacoffee.com, an organic coffee farm and cooperative in western Nepal.

Enjoy reading and I will humbly welcome your rants!

Warmth,

Ujwal (or Jay, Uj, Uji, Ujay and many other names i am called by).

Is everything okay?

Unless you work in a nuclear power plant, the answer is certainly no (and if you work there, I hope the answer is yes.)
No, everything is not okay. Not in a growing organization. Not if your company is making change happen, or dealing with customers. [...]
